International womens day

Hello women everywhere, isn’t it nice to have a day of our own!

The women in our family are extremely close and I’m sure it’s the same for most families

We are lucky enough to belong in a large family and us women seem to bond together to look after our menfolk and each other

I personally lost my mother a year ago and find it hard after always having her by my side as she lived with me for most of my life and we were lucky that she also ended her life at home with us

I have two daughters also sadly lost a daughter shortly after birth. We are all extremely close and have actually now gone into business together which has enriched our lives immensely

My daughters are both very kind but strong characters and very different from day one

Joanna was petite blond and dainty and an absolute tomboy who loved football and forming clubs with likeminded crazy kids such as rat busters!!! This club consisted of them spending hours outside searching for rats. Thank god they never found any.

Lauren very dark long and gangly with spikey hair Like Joanna she was very pretty and she loved pretty clothes and dolls and anything girly

As they have grown up their interests have continued to be very different and this has always complimented their relationship with each other and made for happy times within our family unit.

Life for myself (and I’m sure I’m no different to other women) flies along and the years go by in a flash so before I forget I’m taking this opportunity on this special day to give thanks for my beautiful daughters who always have and continue to bring me love and laughter in abundance Strong honest loving women who I’m so proud off !
